This role owns the end-to-end AI product operating model for International, spanning intake, prioritization, delivery, governance, adoption, and value realization, while ensuring alignment with Global AI governance and future enterprise standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Define and own the International AI product vision, roadmap, and operating model including adoption of general AI technology, enhanced/platform AI technology, responsible AI use and scaling.
- Lead use case intake, backlog refinement, and prioritization using a transparent value vs feasibility framework.
- Focus on IHQ Commercial teams, and partner functions (Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, HR, country teams, etc) as appropriate to realize high-impact AI use case value.
- Ensure all AI initiatives are anchored to clear business problems, owners, KPIs, and benefits hypotheses.
- Balance innovation with execution discipline - explicitly deciding what to scale, stop, park, or defer.
- Deliver enterprise AI capabilities by partnering closely with technology, platform, security, and compliance teams.
- Success to be measured by evaluating use case benefit realization (e.g., time saved, cycle time reduced, quality improvement, business growth) and adoption.
- All AI initiatives have a named business owner and defined outcome KPI at intake.
- AI governance, compliance, and legal standards met.
Experience required.
- Strong experience in commercial Pharma analytics and AI product management, data, or advanced solutions, with the ability to translate real business problems into, clear, prioritized work.
- Practical understanding of different AI approaches (off-the-shelf, enhanced, and custom solutions), and when each is appropriate.
- Proven ability to work across multiple functions, influence senior stakeholders, and make clear trade-off decisions.
- Able to define success measures, track outcomes, and use data to guide decisions.
- Clear communicator who can structure working sessions with a cross-functional and matrix team, explain technical topics in plain language, and maintain focus on delivery and measurable outcomes.
- Working in regulated environments and engaging early with legal, compliance, privacy, and security partners.
